Tertiary Education Programme in Africa

The Minister of Education, Mrs Naledi Pandor will tomorrow, Tuesday, 9
October 2007, at 13h00 address the launch of the SAP Tertiary Education
Programme in Africa at SAP Auditorium, SAP Office Park, 1 Woodmead Drive,
Woodmead, in Johannesburg.
The programme equips students with hands-on experience which makes them
ready to work with enterprise resource planning systems as soon as they enter
the workforce. The SAP Tertiary Education Programme is the only one of its kind
sponsored by a major information technology company.
It was first launched in 1996 in the United States of America and to date
boasts 500 participating institutions of higher learning in 36 countries,
including Canada, Switzerland, Austria, Ethiopia, Namibia, China, Australia,
Mexico, Japan and South Africa.
