The Minister of Education, Mrs Naledi Pandor, MP, will today, 2 March 2006,
at 18:30 deliver an address at the launch of two books, namely: Crossing Over:
The basics of Evolution-Workbook For Teachers, by Edith Dempster and Reading
Scientific Images â The Iconology of Evolution by Richard Mason.
The event takes place at the Main Hall Lobby, University of the Western
Cape. Guests include His Excellency Frans Engering, Ambassador to South Africa
from the Netherlands and history and science teachers from the Western
Cape.
The Royal Netherlands Embassy supported the research and publication of the
two books.
