The Mpumalanga Department of Education in partnership with MTN will be
handing over multi-media centre equipment to Mafu Secondary School on Saturday,
11 November 2006, at Mafu Secondary School, in Kwaggafontein at 10h00.
This is part of the MTN Schools Connectivity Project from which the
Mpumalanga Department of Education is benefiting through the initiative of the
African National Congress Youth League.
In pursuance of the motto of the Mpumalanga Department of Education, "Making
the Education Enterprise Everybody's Business" the Department jointly with MTN
and ANC Youth League (ANCYL) is on course to educate the nation.
The project will enhance effective learning and teaching at Mafu Secondary
School and improve the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) wisdom
of both learners and teachers where the community stands to gain from this
endeavour.
