DWS to fast track payments for WOL trainees
The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) acknowledges the delay in payments of stipends to the War on Leaks (WOL) trainees. The delay is caused by an interruption in the transfer of funds to Rand Water as the Implementing Agent of the programme.
The situation is being corrected as we speak and Rand Water will effect these payments urgently. The Department apologizes to the trainees for the delay in payments.
