Cape Town’s U.S. Consul General Erica Barks-Ruggles and Green Cape CEO Francois du Plessis, under the auspices of the United States Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and the Western Cape Government’s (WCG) Department of Transport and Public Works, signed a grant agreement today to evaluate the feasibility of a solar project for the generation of renewable energy in Cape Town. WCG’s Minister for Transport and Public Works Robin Carlisle witnessed the signing.
