The Acting Chief of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) regrets to announce the name of the deceased member who was involved in a tragic parachute accident in Lohatla on Monday, 21 February 2011 at 12h50.
The deceased is Gunner Jabulani David Masango (25), who was based at 10 Air Defence Artillery Regiment in Kimberley. The Gunner was from Masechaba View, Nigel, and is survived by his father Mr. Bongani Masango.
Funeral arrangements will be announced once it has been confirmed with the family.
