The South African Mint Company (Pty) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the South African Reserve Bank, has reached a mutual agreement of separation with Managing Director Andile Mvinjelwa and General Manager Numismatics Mr Thomas Davel.
This follows an investigation subsequent to their suspension on 8 December 2011, which concluded that neither party were involved in illegal activity.
The SA Mint and the two parties have agreed to terminate their respective terms of service with effect from 31 May 2012.
