Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele has conveyed condolences to the family of a Gauteng provincial traffic officer, who was shot and killed in Hillbrow last night (Friday, 20 April 2012).
"On behalf of the transport family, we want to convey our sincere condolences to the family and colleagues of the Gauteng traffic officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty last night (20 April 2012). We commend the police for the swift arrest, and call upon them to leave no stone unturned in this investigation so that the culprit who committed this merciless brutal act receives due punishment," said the Minister.
