Members of the public have 60 days to comment on the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Bill that has been gazetted (23 January 2012) by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies. The gazetting of the Bill and Policy is the culmination of work done to broaden the scope and composition of dedicated industrial areas and to support industrial decentralization. The period for public comment closes on 22 March 2012.
