President Jacob Zuma has in terms of Section 201 (2) (c) of the Constitution of the Republic, terminated the employment of all members of the South African National Defence in the Central African Republic.
The President has informed Parliament that the termination has been undertaken due to the fact that the security situation in the CAR has deteriorated and there is no longer a legitimate government.
