A 25 year old man is expected to appear before Mankweng Magistrate court today, 18 June 2012 for rape of s pensioner.
A 73 year old woman was reportedly sleeping at about 01h00 when the suspect broke the window to force entry. He allegedly raped her several times before fleeing. The victim managed to identify the suspect as a fellow local villager from Ga Molepo, Mmamatsha area.
Police were activated and within few hours the suspect was apprehended.
