The National Police Commissioner has expressed his absolute delight at the arrest of two ATM bombers today in the Limpopo province.

The two alleged bombers, who incidentally are brothers aged 33 and 34 years old, were arrested by police in Sekhukhune area this morning after a Standard Bank ATM was blasted this morning at about 02h00. The offence took place at the Kwena Business Centre-Schoonoord in Sekhukhune and was committed by three suspects.

The suspects fled with a small amount of cash in two vehicles, a Mercedes Benz and a Nissan LDV.

Through speedy investigations, the suspects were arrested at Tshehlwaneng village in Sekhukhune and the two vehicles used were also confiscated.

It is believed that a third suspect is still at large and an intensive search has been launched by police. The stolen money has not yet been recovered.
