The Executive Council (EXCO) held its special meeting on 14 March 2011 in Polokwane.
The report on the second provincial government budget adjustments’ from the Provincial Treasury was adopted. This report proposed overall adjustments which were ratified by the Provincial Legislature today, 15 March 2011.
During the EXCO meeting, the following appointment was approved:
1. Mr Gavin Pratt was appointed as the Provincial Accounted General (Senior General Manager: Financial Governance) of the Provincial Treasury. The appointment will be effective from 1 April 2011.
Meanwhile, today the Limpopo provincial government tabled the Annual Performance Plans (APP) for all the provincial departments at the provincial legislature at Lebokgomo.
The APPs outline the annual service delivery plans and their financial implications over a Medium Term Strategic Framework period. The APPs are used to, among others; assist the legislature to hold the executive accountable on service delivery and financial management matters.
