Statement of condolences from Minister of Transport, Sibusiso Ndebele on the passing of the South African Airlink pilot Captain Alistair Freeman

Minister of Transport Sibusiso Ndebele has expressed sadness at the news that South African Airlink pilot Captain Alistair Freeman has died following the September crash which took place in Merebank, Durban.

“It is with sadness and pain that we receive the news of the passing of Captain Freeman. Our condolences and prayers go to the family during this difficult period. We also extend our condolences to the entire South African Airlink family which has lost one of its employees. We wish all those who were involved in the crash last month a speedy recovery,” said Ndebele.
