Sport, Arts and Culture invites media to apply for accreditation for LIV Golf South Africa

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture invites members of the media to apply for accreditation for LIV Golf South Africa. Registration is now open for the inaugural tournament, scheduled to take place from 19 to 22 March 2026 at The Club at Steyn City in Midrand.

This landmark event brings the prestigious international LIV Golf series to South Africa for the first time, positioning the country prominently on the global sporting stage.

Accredited media will have access to world-class competition and internationally recognised players. The tournament week will feature competitive play alongside structured media engagements designed to facilitate comprehensive editorial coverage. The event presents a valuable opportunity to report on sport, culture, and international participation at the highest level.

All media applications must be submitted via the official LIV Golf media accreditation portal: https://livgolfmedia.com/accreditation. Accreditation is strictly reserved for working media professionals. Freelance journalists are required to provide proof of a confirmed assignment. All applications will undergo a formal review and approval process. The closing date for accreditation applications is 16 March 2026.
