The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture congratulates the SA Women’s T20 team for reaching the finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the first time on Friday 24 February.
The win on home soil means that South Africa will participate in the final of this prestigious event on Sunday.
We have no doubt that the Newlands crowd contributed to this historic win and we are hopeful of their continued support on Sunday.
