A member of the South African Air Force (SAAF) was arrested today, Saturday, 5 February 2011 on allegations of being part of a group that robbed an ATM in the Limpopo Province. He was arrested by a task team from the South African Police Force (SAPF) that traced him from Limpopo to his house in Pretoria in the early hours of today.
The SAPF are investigating the robbery incident. The SAAF will cooperate fully with the SAPF on the matter. Crime is unreservedly not tolerated within the SANDF therefore any member found guilty of being involved in any criminal activities must face the full might of the law.
