Sixteen people injured when the taxi they were travelling in overturned at around 12oclock on the N4 Bakwena Platinum Highway near Mooinooi Bridge between Rustenburg and Brits on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver and five passengers sustained serious injuries while nine passengers who were in the taxi were also slightly injured. The accident apparently occurred after the trailer that the taxi was towing lost its axial.
