The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), in partnership with the Indian Consulate in South Africa; CII; FirstRand Bank; Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs; KPMG; and CNBC Africa is hosting the second conference on doing business with India, from 23 to 24 July 2009, at the Sandton Convention Centre, in Johannesburg.
The conference programme will largely deal with the global recession and financial crisis, from Indian and South African perspectives; business opportunities in the infrastructure and pharmaceutical sectors, among others; and issues affecting the ease of doing business in these emerging economies.
