Road worthiness learner vehicle blitz in Lenasia

The Gauteng Traffic Police are currently busy with the road worthiness leaner vehicle blitz in Lenasia, South of Johannesburg. More than 100 vehicles have been taken off the road and are currently being escorted to the Lenasia Testing Station for a thorough inspection.

This comes at a crucial time on the eve of the launch of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020. The Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 aims to save lives by halting the increasing trends in road traffic deaths and injuries world-wide.
