Six people killed in a horrific accident in KZN

A team of Road Traffic Management Corporation’s crash investigators is rushing to the scene of a horror truck accident in Jozini, in KwaZulu-Natal.

It is believed that a number of people have died when a truck lost control and collided with five other vehicles. The vehicles include two busses, a minibus, and a bakkie including a multiple-purpose vehicle.

Preliminary reports indicate that a truck was loaded with sugarcane when the driver lost control of the vehicle near a clinic.

The exact cause of the crash has not been determined but brake failure is suspected to be the likely cause. 

The number of people who died is believed to be around six. Further confirmation is awaited in this regard.
