Members of the public are advised that there are road closures presently in place in Gauteng and the Eastern Cape.
In Gauteng there are road closures around the Mandela residence in Houghton:
- 3rd Street
- 11th Avenue
- 14th Avenue
- Central Street.
In the Eastern Cape:
- N2 both directions for about 2km at Qunu

All heavy-duty vehicles are advised to only use the following roads:
- On N2 at Tsolo, re-directing traffic on R396 towards Maclear
- On N2 at Ndabakazi, re-directing traffic to R61 towards Tsomo and Engcobo.
