R250 000 reward: Ritual murder of a nine year old girl

A reward of R250 000 has been made available by the management of the South African Police Service in Limpopo for anyone with information that might lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of a person/s who brutally murdered a nine year old girl, Matshidzi Ramanyi, at Tshilungoma village outside Thohoyandou last month.

The girl went missing on 2 March 2013 and was found murdered near Tshamadzi rivulet at Tshilongoma village on 8 March 2013. Part of her skin was removed as well as her private parts. A suspect was arrested immediately thereafter but later released because he could not be linked to the case.
