Public Works Minister Thulas Nxesi sends his condolences on the tragic death of Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Nkosiphendule Kolisile

The Minister of Public Works Mr. Thulas Nxesi sends his heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and the Gauteng Provincial Government for the untimely death of the Economic Development MEC Mr Nkosiphendule Kolisile.

Mr Kolisile died on Saturday the 20th of July 2013 in a car crash on the N6 in Free State. He was driving with his two protectors who also died in the same accident. The MEC was a member of South African Communist Party and the African National Congress.

He leaves behind a great legacy in the Economic Development - recognised by all political parties in the Gauteng legislature and the nation.

“His selfless dedication and hard-work will be remembered and the nation is highly indebted to his distinguished service as a leader, a comrade and part of the Gauteng Provincial Government Executive,” said Minister Nxesi.
