Department of Public Works has not bought a car for Deputy Minister Jeremy Cronin in the recent past
The totally false information published in the Sunday Times (26 November 2017) that Department of Public Works (DPW) purchased a car in the recent past for Deputy Minister Jeremy Cronin is concerning and disturbing. There is absolutely no car that was purchased for Deputy Minister Jeremy Cronin by DPW in recent times, as claimed by the article. This untrue information by the newspaper is shocking.
Deputy Minister Cronin always maintains prudent financial management and judicious expenditure furthermore he is very meticulous in doing so. There is a limit for cars to be bought for Deputy Ministers and Mr Cronin always insist that any car purchased for his use must be far below that limit.
