It is with great sadness that the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure received the news of the passing of Minister Patricia de Lille's husband, Edwin De Lille who passed away last night, 7 February 2021 after a long illness.
The news has come as a great shock to all of us who never saw Minister de Lille's strength and commitment to her work wavering during this time of her husband's illness. She continued to display the utmost diligence and professionalism in her work.
The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure extends its deepest condolences to Minister de Lille and her family for the loss of her husband. We wish the Minister and her family strength and comfort during this time.
