The Public Protector team led by Advocate Thuli Madonsela and the African National Congress (ANC) Parliamentary delegation led by the Chief Whip, Dr Mathole Motshekga today met to discuss issues relating to the Protection of State Information Bill.
The meeting afforded both parties an opportunity to clarify and understand each other’s views on the draft legislation.
It was agreed that the Public Protector will make a submission to the National Council of Provinces ad hoc committee and subsequent public hearings.
