The Eastern Cape Department of Transport’s Communications Director, Mr Ncedo Kumbaca will receive a Media Award for 2012 from the Institute for Traffic and Municipal Police Officer of South Africa’s (ITMPOSA) on 7 November 2012 at the Southern Sun, Cape Sun in Cape Town
Kumbaca is recognised for the role he plays in promoting Traffic Safety in South Africa and the award will be resented to him at approximately 15:00 on Wednesday, 7 November 2012.
This award arises from a nomination made at the Management and Awards Committee Meeting of the Institute of Traffic and Municipal Police Officers of Southern Africa.
The Institute of Traffic and Municipal Police Officers of Southern Africa was formed with the aim and objective of promoting traffic control and the professional advancement of traffic members. The Institute is a service orientated organisation which edifies uplifts and empowers Traffic and Municipal Police Officers and strives to realise the honourable ideals of traffic and municipal police services in Southern Africa.
This Institute will be holding its 43rd Biennial Conference and AGM 2012, at the Southern Sun, Cape Sun, Cape Town from the 7th to the 9th of November 2012. Part of the program at this event is to award and honour certain individuals who contribute in any manner to promotion of traffic safety in Southern Africa.
