The Ministry for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Save the Children, and the Embassy of Italy will on Thursday 8 July 2010 publicly announcea project to assist vulnerable children on the move in Musina on the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Sponsored by the people of Italy, the project aims to ensure that systems are in place to assistunaccompanied migrants and other vulnerable children to protect them from exploitation,abuse, violence and discrimination.
The event will be attended by Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities Minister Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya, Italian Ambassador Elio Menzione and Save the Children Regional Manager Elizabeth Hughes.
