The President of the Republic of South Africa Mr Jacob Zuma will deliver his State of the Nation Address to Parliament on Thursday, 9 February 2012.
The 2012 State of the Nation Address will be delivered in the evening, at around 19.00.
Members of the media wishing to report from the Parliamentary precinct when President Zuma delivers his address in the National Assembly Chamber or wishing to broadcast from the Parliamentary precinct on 9 February 2012 are required to send their details to: Nolizwi Magwagwa on 021 403 2465 or at nmagwagwa@parliament.gov.za, copying erandall@parliament.gov.za, by Monday 16 January 2012.

- Name of media organisation and media group
- Designation (writer, photographer, for example)

Media wishing to broadcast from the Parliamentary precinct should also provide:
- Make of vehicle(s)
- Registration number(s)
- Clearance certificates from service providers for temporary structures (tents, etc) they wish to erect
- Other equipment
- Time of arrival
- Time of departure
