Media falling into the categories listed below who wish to cover debate on the President’s State of the Nation Address (SoNA) and his reply are required to send their details to Nolizwi Magwagwa on 021-403 2465 or 083 313 1323 or at nmagwagwa@parliament.gov.za, copying erandall@parliament.gov.za by 10h00 on Monday, 13 February 2012:
- Media, who are not in possession of a Parliamentary access permit for media
- Photographers wishing to photograph in the National Assembly Chamber or in the precinct during the debate and the reply.
- Media wishing to broadcast from the Parliamentary precinct.
Details required are: Full name, ID/passport number, name of media organisation, designation (writer, photographer, for example), telephone number and cell phone number.
Media wishing to broadcast from the Parliamentary precinct should also provide:
Make of vehicle(s), registration number(s), number(s) of vehicles, other equipment and time of arrival.
The proceedings are planned as follows:
- Debate on State of the Nation Address - Tuesday 14 February and Wednesday 15 February 2012
- President replies to debate - Thursday 16 February 2012
