President Zuma takes time off

President Jacob Zuma is to take time off to rest from Wednesday, 6 October until next week, and will be replaced by the deputy President and ministers in some key engagements.

Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will attend the Afro-Arab Summit over the weekend in Libya.

The presentation of letters of credence by new ambassadors and high commissioners which was scheduled for tomorrow, 6 October, will be rescheduled.

The Minister in the Presidency Collins Chabane will officiate at the launch of Volume 4 of the Road to Democracy Series produced by the South African Democracy Education Trust, which will take place at the Presidential guest house in Pretoria at 17h30 tomorrow.
