President Jacob Zuma has taken three days off his public engagements to rest. The President will return to the office on Monday, 27 June 2011.
The President will be in the country during this period and available to perform his executive duties, as such it will not be necessary for him to designate an Acting President.
On Monday, 27 June the President will travel to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea to attend the Seventeenth Ordinary Session of the African Union.
