President Jacob Zuma has today, 14 August 2014, submitted his response to the Speaker of the National Assembly on the security upgrades to his Nkandla residence.
The report has been prepared with due consideration of the following reports:
- The report of the Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence (JSCI);
- The report of the Public Protector titled "Secure in Comfort”;
- The progress report in terms of Section 4(1)(f) of the Special Investigating Units and Special Tribunals Act submitted by the Head of the Special Investigating Unit (SIU).
