President Jacob Zuma has, on behalf of Government and the people of South Africa, sent his best wishes to Mr German Lekekela on turning 100 years of age.
"You have not only witnessed the birth of our country's liberation," said President Zuma, "but also experienced the great strides we have made in improving the lives of our people as we also celebrate our 20 years of democracy. It is my hope that this special day evokes many cherished memories and fills you with great happiness and fulfilment."
