President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of the Executive Ethics Code, agreed to a request by Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa to extend the period in which to dispose of any financial or business interests that may give rise to a conflict of interest when performing his functions as a Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa or place administration of such interests under the control of an independent and professional person or agency.
President Zuma determined a four month period of extension for the Deputy President to comply with the Executive Ethics Code.
