President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 30 of the Employment Equity Amendment Act, 2013 (Act No. 47 of 2013) (the Act), declared today, 01 August 2014, as the date on which the Act will come into operation.
In January 2014, President Zuma assented to the Act and it was later published in the Government Gazette on 16 January 2014.
