President Jacob Zuma has appointed Dr Vincent Maphai and Ms Elizabeth Maepa as additional members of the Commission of Inquiry into the Remuneration and Conditions of Service in the Public Service and Public Entities listed in Schedule 3A and 3C of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999.
The President appointed the Commission in August 2013, and had first announced it in the State of the Nation Address of February 2013. The Commission is chaired by former Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo.
