President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 26(2) read with 29(2) of the Competition Act, 1998 (Act 89 of 1998), re-appointed the following persons as members of the Competition Tribunal for a period of five (5) years from 1 August 2014 ending on 31 July 2019:
1. M Norman Manoim as Chairperson and a full-time member
2. Mr Andrea Wessels as a full-time member
3. Ms Yasmin Carrim as a full-time member
4. Ms Andiswa Ndoni as a part-time member
5. Ms Medi Mokuena as a part-time member
The President has further appointed, in terms of section 26(2)(b) read with section 29(2) of the Act, Ms Mondo Mazwai as a full-time member of the Competition Tribunal for a period of five years ending on 31 July 2019.
"We wish all the members of the Competition Tribunal all the best in this critical endeavour,” said President Zuma.
