The month of Ramadaan has ended and our Muslim compatriots both in South Africa and those who are on pilgrimage abroad, have once again been blessed with the day of Eid.
Eid is a day of prayer and an expression of gratitude to the Almighty for all His Blessings and Bounties bestowed during the Holy Month of Ramadaan.
On this period of Eid therefore, I take this opportunity, on behalf of government and the people of South Africa, of wishing all Muslims Eid Mubarak!
