On 5 February 2015, the Presidency announced that President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 12 (6) of the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998 (Act 38 of 1998), established an enquiry to determine the fitness of Mr Mxolisi Nxasana to hold office as National Director of Public Prosecutions.
