President Jacob Zuma has expressed words of condolence on the sad passing of Mr Christian "Bunny" Ashley-Botha, a master of choral music and a recipient of the National Order of Ikhamanga.
Mr Ashley-Botha passed away yesterday, 7 December 2014, at home in the Drakensberg with his family.
"On behalf of government and all the people of South Africa, we wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to his family, the Drakensberg Boys Choir and Drakensberg community as well as lovers of choral music countrywide. The loss of this choral maestro is a national loss. May his soul rest in peace," said President Zuma.
