President Zuma appoints new members of the Municipal Demarcation Board
President Jacob Zuma has in terms of section 6 (1) of the Local Government: Municipal Demarcation Act, 1998 appointed ten board members of the Municipal Demarcation Board for a period of five years with effect from 20 February 2014.
The new Members of the Board are:
1. Ms Mabjoalo Jane Thupana
2. Mr Ashraf Mohamed Adam
3. Ms Isobel Konyn
4. Mr Lebina Daniel Tsotetsi
5. Ms Nompumelelo Mpofu
6. Mr Simphiwe Dzengwa
7. Ms Shivon Wiggins
8. Mr Maruping Michael Wildebees
9. Dr Makhosi Busisiwe Khoza
10. Ms Mmatsie Sophia Mooki
President Zuma has also in terms of section 10 (1) of the aforementioned act, appointed Ms Mabjoalo Jane Thupana and Mr Ashraf Mohamed Adam as Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Board respectively.
