Presidency proposes dates for Oral Questions in the National Assembly and the NCOP

The Presidency has proposed dates on which President Jacob Zuma will appear in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) and the National Assembly to respond to oral questions this year.

Given the pressure on the President's diary, some unforeseen circumstances may cause changes in the schedule during the year. In the event of that happening, the Presidency will propose alternative dates to parliament as has been done routinely in previous years.

President Zuma is already scheduled to appear on 11 March 2015 in the National Assembly for the first quarter.

The dates for the three remaining quarters have been proposed as follows:

  • 18 June 2015
  • 6 August 2015
  • 19 November 2015

For the NCOP, the Presidency has proposed 14 May 2015 as the date on which the President will respond to oral questions.
