No request from Western Cape government
President Jacob Zuma has not received a letter from the government of the Western Cape requesting the granting of a provincial official funeral for former rugby player Mr Tinus Linee.
The Presidency has received media enquiries following a statement reportedly made by the Western Cape government saying it had written to the President making the request.
The President once again extends his condolences to the family of Mr Linee.
