Officials from the Office of the Premier will this morning, 23 December 2011 handover food parcels to orphans and vulnerable children in Welcome Wood community hall near King Williams Town. The children belong to 30 identified families who depend on the children’s social grant for survival.
Now that its December and the social grant money for this month has already been used by the families, the Office of the Premier in partnership with Amatole HIV and AIDS Project have decided to donate food parcels for the families so that they also can enjoy a merry Christmas like other families.
