North West Premier Thandi Modise addressing protestors in Majakaneng
North West Premier Thandi Modise has just arrived in Majakaneng to address the grievances of protestors who have been rioting for the past two days.
The Premier and the Deputy Minister of Finance Nhlanhla Nene had earlier met with community representatives of Hebron and Majakaneng protestors, the Mayor of Madibeng, Matshidiso Mangoathe and Speaker of Council Douglas Maimane.
The Premier is accompanied by members of the Provincial Executive Council Task Team,i.e MEC’s for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Manketse Tlape, MEC for Finance, Paul Sebegoe and MEC for Human Settlements, Public Safety & Liaison, Nono Maloyi.
