Premier Modiselle leads North West Government Massive Cleaning Campaign in Mafikeng and Mmabatho

North West Premier Maureen Modiselle and the entire Executive Council led hundreds of public servants in a massive cleaning campaign of the capital city, Mafikeng today.

Premier Modiselle officially launched the campaign at the Megacity parking lot opposite the taxi rank at 08h00 and then proceeded to do the same at the Mafikeng long distance taxi rank.

This is because there were 15 sites identified for cleaning and these included six in the Mafikeng area, including Danville and nine in the Mmabatho area covering amongst others Unit 13, 14 and the Central Business District as well as Montshioa Township.

MECs, Heads of Departments and public servants took part in this drive as well as the Mayor and employees of the Mafikeng Local Municipality, which was an effort to bring cleanliness to the area.
