North West Premier, Prof Tebogo Job Mokgoro, has expressed shock and sadness upon learning of the passing away of hip-hop star, Jabulani Tsambo who was affectionately known in music circles as HHP.
Premier Mokgoro would like to send his sincere condolences, on behalf of the North West Provincial Government and the people of the North West, to HHP’s family, friends and colleagues at this moment of grief.
Premier Mokgoro said that HHP was indeed a pioneer in his music genre and made the Setswana language more fun and fashionable through his lyrics as well as putting Mahikeng and the province on the centre stage wherever he performed.
“HHP was a true ambassador of the Province of the North West and has left an indelible mark on the South African popular culture and music industry. May his soul rest in peace”.
