North West Premier Prof Tebogo Job Mokgoro would like to inform the public that staff in the Office of the Premier, who had come into contact with him, have all tested negative for Covid 19.
Premier Mokgoro tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, 07July 2020 and subsequently went into quarantine.
Premier Mokgoro said that “these staff members provide critical support to keep the Private Office of the Premier functional in these difficult times”.
“I wish to advise all of them to continue to follow medical advice and adhere to protocols by remaining in quarantine for the full 14 days as recommended by health practitioners”, Premier Mokgoro added.
He further said that this is the general advice that “we recommend to all members of the public who may be infected by or come into contact with a person infected by Covid 19”.
Premier Mokgoro also said that the Office of the Premier will continue to provide all the assistance required by all staff during this period and he wished his support staff and their families well in this difficult time.
